The demo version is designed to give you a small sample of the type of quality and gameplay that will come with the full game when it eventually launches.
The demo will currently feature 6 super fun, and challenging mini-games out of the 30 mini-games Metal Heads will eventually launch with, with more unlocking as the game gets closer to it's release date.
You can either choose to play the mini-games by selecting what one you would like to play, or run a continuous random loop.
This demo does not contain all features, (it is just a handful of mini-games) but will still give you plenty of entertainment when you feel like playing a party game alone or with friends.
Most of the mini-games in the demo are crazy survival mini-games, and are a challenge even to play in solo mode, with additional modes for survival mini-games so you are not limited by a timer, but can see how long you survive for.
While there are no leaderboards yet, do not hesitate to brag about your survival skills in the forums and compete with the community to see who is the ultimate metal head.
An added note is that in the gameplay menu, there is a feature to enable melee which allows players to slap one another using LB and RB. While the game wasn't designed with this in mind, and generally becomes infuriating to play, some people enjoy this style of gameplay, and what kind of developer would I be to deny that opportunity.
I am working around the clock to give you guys something super fun and exciting to play, and hope that you can understand that sometimes it will take a few days to resolve certain issues if I cannot immediately fix them.
I cannot wait to keep adding content to the demo so you guys can try something new every now and then, this is my passion and I enjoy that others enjoy my creation.

Metal Heads supports up to 8 players LOCALLY, which means that everyone should be able to join in on the action.
It's sometimes difficult to gather 8 people together to play a game, so Metal Heads will launch with online multiplayer support!
Do you want to play with more people, but don't have enough at the party?
Create an online server, and let online players join in on the fun.
Join a game at any time, and when you're done, drop out at any time with the push of a button.

What sets Metal Heads classic board game apart from other games doing the same thing?
You actually have to move your character yourself, requiring you run and jump over platforms and obstacles, collect bonus points, take super risky, but highly rewarding shortcuts, all to get to your destination, and if you don't make it, you go back to where you started.
Metal Heads will eventually feature more than one type of board game.
Each new board game mode playing differently to the last, and each are inspired by some of the greats!
Metal Heads features a basic character customization at the character selection screen using character presets, but eventually, you will be able to create a more personalized and unique metal heads in the character customizer, simply select a template, then add accessories, like antenna's, eye sockets, dangling things, capes, logo's and much more!
Metal Heads is planned to have a stage editor after launch...or maybe even AT launch, so that when you get bored of playing the same stage over and over, you can create your own.
This is not limited to just mini-games either, you will be able to create new board game maps too!
And it just wouldn't be too exciting if you couldn't share your creations with the rest of the world right?
So the stage editor will be compatible with the Steam workshop, where you can upload your creations, as well as download other players creations.
Metal Heads wouldn't really live up to it's name if it didn't feature some fun metal music to bang your heads too.
Every mini-game features unique music tracks, each with a metal influence, however aren't really heavy and in your face, so you won't get tired of hearing the same track over and over again...not that it would be a bad thing, since all of the tracks are AWESOME!
Metal Heads is also featuring music from lead guitarist of Mors Principium Est, Andy Gillion, who will bring the metal, into Metal Heads.
In the future, there are plans to get some other well known metal artists on board, so you can listen to their amazing creations while playing a super fun game!
