State of Epica

The game is accessible during Early Access, the core development stage. The game went through several major updates, including the upgrade from Unreal Engine 4 to 5, and changes preparing the game for multiplayer.   

A lot of content has been prepared or is in the pipeline. The current scope centers on bringing the starting zone (Act 1) to life, which includes:

• Player skills

• Player gear 

• Various world locations

• World features such as a day & night cycle

• Character development

• Quests

Secondly, optimizing and tweaking of the many challenges. The multiplayer tests are planned for later this year.
