Re:Turn 2 - Runaway follows on from the events of the first game.
Re:Turn 2 - Runaway is a tense, character-driven psychological horror experience. Saki and her fiancé, Sen, are trapped on an abandoned train that is haunted by an evil spirit that takes the form of a little girl named Ayumi. Battle your way through the haunted train. Discover clues in mysterious abandoned locations. Escape from the nightmare and free the trapped souls from the clutches of the evil which has possessed them.
But, consequences have actions. Saki must be careful, or she will meet a fate worse than the lost souls aboard Ayumi’s train. In order to stay safe, Saki must decide whether she should run, hide, or confront the evil that has set its sights upon her
The thing that calls itself Ayumi is harboring a dark secret. And it’s up to Saki to uncover the truth about that darkness. But Ayumi’s evil is powerful, and if it takes hold of Saki, then all hope is lost. Saki will need to use the tools she discovers along the way to battle this evil and reveal the true history of Ayumi’s wicked ways.

도전과제 100% 완료 전작에 없던 풀더빙(영어)을 함. 모든 등장인물의 대사는 물론이고, "문이 잠겨있다" 같은 독백도 더빙했다. 더빙 안 한 건 문서 내용뿐. 인벤토리 아이템 조합도 추가됐고, 손전등 종류에 따라 탐색이 달라지는 등 여러 시도를 한 점이 눈에 띈다. 폐심처럼 숨을 수 있는 추격전도 있는데 이건 별로였다. 적이 랜덤으로 뜨는 데다 속도도 빠르고 시력도 좋다. 다행히 저장 안 하고 클리어 같은 도전과제도 없으니 그냥 죽는 게 맘 편할 정도. 전작의 무의미한 2회차 클리어 같은 도전과제도 없다. 가장 달성률 낮은 도전과제가 모든 문서 수집하기인데 손전등 바꿔가며 탐색해왔다면 어렵지 않을 것이다. 엔딩은 2종류이고 분기점이 맨마지막에 있으니 간단하게 다 볼 수 있다. 스토리는 전작과 합쳐야 하나의 이야기가 되는 느낌. 불필요하게 둘로 나눈 것 같음. 전작은 등장인물이 너무 많아서 전개가 산만한데, 이번작은 풀더빙이 될 정도로 등장인물이 적어서 나은 편이다. 단점 한국어는 전작에도 없었고, 이번엔 일본어도 지원하지 않는다. 이번작도 역시나 공포게임인데 안 무섭다. 매우 큰 단점 전작도 퍼즐의 직관성이 떨어지는 편이지만, 그 전작의 퍼즐들을 선녀로 보이게 하는 퍼즐이 5챕터에 나온다. 10분 고민하다 빠르게 공략을 봤는데 해법이 이해는 되는데 납득은 못 하겠다.
