Also known in some markets as Dark Seal II, Wizard Fire is a classic multiplayer action RPG originally released in 1992. Set in the 4th century A.D., in the Empire of Aul where the evil wizard Zenon plans to sacrifice one hundred one innocent lives to open the Dragon Shrine. With this power, Zenon will raise an army of the undead to conquer the land.
In this fantasy themed beat ‘em up from Data East™, one or two players can choose among 5 characters: the Knight, the Wizard, the Bard, the Dwarf and the Elf. Each character brings a unique set of skills, weapons and talents to the battlefield as you cut down hordes of skeletons, ghouls, kobolds and more.

Night Slasher와 마찬가지로 이 게임도 여전히 개선되지 않았고, 개선의 의지도 없어보입니다. 문제가 심각하게 대두되어도 오랜기간동안 한번의 업데이트도 없었으니까요. 아래의 평가 때와 여전히 동일하며, 오히려 그 사이 업데이트가 없었다는 점에서 더 심각합니다. ========================================================= 데이터 이스트의 고전 작품들이 Retro Classix 라는 시리즈로 나오고 있는 것 까지는 좋습니다. 이상하게도, 같은 시스템을 기반으로 에뮬 베이스로 만들고 있는 것 같은데, 게임마다 구현 완성도의 차이가 많이 납니다. 어떤 게임은 제법 잘 구현되어있는 반면, 어떤 게임들은 문제가 좀 있는데요. 특히 Night Slasher와 Wizard Fire 이 두 게임은 화면이 떨리는 플리커링이 심해서 눈이 상당히 피로한 지경입니다. 게임이 안되거나 진행이 안되거나 하는 건 아니지만, 게임을 정상적으로 플레이 하기에 아주 불편해요.
