After two years of precipitation, we re-made this variable sequel after thinking about it!
Variable 2 is a unique stand-alone tower defense game. We have enriched the building and elements of tower defense, and the experience in the game can be changed according to your ideas! Let's take a look together!
Game Features
- Free route construction. Different from traditional tower defense, in "Variable 2" you can freely place the core and the location of the strange outlet, and then use the original objects in the road, buildings and the map to pave a road that is beneficial to you. Unlike the previous game, the terrain you will face this time will be more complicated.
- The recipe and synthesis of the defense tower. In "Variables 2", we provide you with 5 basic towers and numerous advanced towers. Obtain supplies, extract basic towers, and then synthesize more powerful advanced towers according to the recipe. High-level towers have higher attributes and more powerful characteristics, and use the combination of defensive towers to face various situations.
- equipment. You can match equipment for the tower. Equipment not only provides basic attributes, but more importantly, equipment has many special mechanisms. Using these mechanisms reasonably, your output will increase explosively. The acquisition of equipment is obtained by accumulating energy values. Each round gives 1 point of energy, and each round increases the value by 1 point. But when you use the supply to extract the base tower, the extra growth will be cleared.
- Plugins. The plug-in will provide you with some additional help, but you need to accept some small challenges if you want to get this help.
- Fragmentation group. The acquisition of equipment and plug-ins will be different from the random acquisition of the previous game, but you can use the shard group to arrange the acquisition of your equipment and plug-ins in advance before the game enters. The fragment group is obtained by using the money obtained in the game to extract.

전작인 variables의 도전과제를 모두 클리어할 정도로 오래 했었는지라 후속작인 variables2는 도전과제들 금방 달성한거 같습니다. 전작도 타워디펜스로써 재밌게 했었는데, 이번작은 기존보다 여러모로 훨씬 발전해서 즐겁게 했습니다. 특히 보스들마다 컷씬을 넣을줄은 몰랐네요. 이전작과 비교하여 가장 크게 발전했다고 느낀 점을 꼽아보면 2가지 입니다. 1. 엘리베이터, 지형 취급의 터렛 추가 등을 통해 지형을 좀 더 전략적으로 활용 2. 플레이 커스텀 요소 - 전작에서 무작위 순서로 얻었던 Gear, Mod들의 나오는 순서를 조정 가능 - LE를 통해 보너스/패널티를 세팅해서 시작 가능 (ex : 모든 터렛의 사정거리를 늘리는 대신 공격력을 깎는다던지...) 다만 전작이나 이번작이나, 최종 보스를 깨는 세팅과 터렛은 같았던건 예상하지 못했습니다. 역시 장착한 Gear를 서로 공유하는 Quantum sling은 사기입니다.
