Their relationship becomes complicated when Jake suffers from a strange illness—poison, madness, or something even darker? With each episode, he is thrust between two different eras, stripped of his memories, unable to distinguish reality, and feeling as if a faceless destiny is pulling the strings of his fate.

Trapped between the seemingly harmless modern world and the violent, ruthless gangster underworld of Prohibition, Jake must confront not only a powerful and merciless enemy but also a painful journey of self-transformation.
