Firebird: Legend of the Crystal Goddesses is a love letter to classic RPGs of the SNES era, inspired by 16-bit Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest titles, with an EarthBound-style mix of meta-humor thrown in.
The game follows a mercenary named Dameon Phoenix, a seemingly-ordinary swordsman with a secret past, as he takes on contracts for the local citizens in the Kingdom of Regatul. Along the way, he and his friends are set on a path to inadvertently unleash a devastating source of power, and wrestle with the aftermath while helping a powerful mage named Hanako undo what has been done.
