World Setting

In ancient times, the Holy Land of Helvetia flourished under the protection of the goddess Elnath. Then the demons came, overrunning the land and defeating the goddess through violent war.
The demon society is hierarchical, with the souls of servants and other beings lacking worth used as the base material to creat Tactica, a crystalline object used for weapon manufacturing or as fuel.
It is an age of darkness for the humans who once lived peacefully in the holy land.

Story

The four queens, known as Dark Lords, who rule over their respective domains have long maintained a pact of non-intervention. However, after receiving reports that the Dark Empress Karvia has been engaging in suspicious activity, the other three Dark Lords simultaneously declared war on her.

Despite being surrounded by enemies, the Demon Empress Karvia remains confident that she will prevail. After all, she has under her command a secret task force—the unit that she considers to have been the deciding factor in the war against Helvetia: The “Black Arme Vapula,” led by our protagonist Leonhardt.

Battalion Battles (Triple Squad Battles)
In this new instalment of the Venusblood series, we present you with the new "Battalion Battle" system! With three squads of six units each, you enter battle... with all 18 units!

Squad Positioning on the Map
Unlike in VenusBlood FRONTIER International, you can position your unit squads onto specific bases!

In VenusBlood HOLLOW, by reducing the number of additional attacks and allowing you to hit multiple enemies, the battles are speedier compared to earlier games in the series.

Internal Administration
Internal administration is an important part of waging war as well! Your internal administration parameters influence your generation of food, magic, Anima (required to recruit units) and gold, as well as the effectiveness of your military and medicine!

Squad System
Put together your own custom, unique teams! Be it a team filled with commander units only, common units only, or a set up based on synergistic affinities, you are free to create handmade teams to conquer the land!

Awakening (Alteration) System
In this game, you can "Awaken" the captured Dark Lords to make them loyal to you, or you can leave them be in their original form!

Once a Dark Lord is fully awakened, both their outward appearance and personality will change, and they will thus pledge their eternal loyalty to you!

Will you leave the captured Dark Lords the way they are?
Or perhaps you prefer a broken, irrevocably altered Dark Lord...?

The choice, their fate... is left in your hands.

The Routes of Law and Chaos
Depending on the decisions you make throughout the game, how the story progresses will change. Do you seek chaos and evil, or justice and nobility? Make your choices wisely, for they will influence the ultimate ending to your ambition...

Customizing and Optimizing Units
You can customize your units in various ways! Raise them, assign them to a squad, give them equipment, and bring them with you into battle! You can also assign titles to soldiers that you hire, which will allow the unit to learn skills that they would not have learned otherwise!

Try putting together a unique squad comprised of only your favorite units and watch as they decimate the enemy forces!

Multiple Endings
Both the Law and Chaos routes have unique endings, as well as sub-endings for specific heroines!

Satisfying Systems & Replayability
Multiple difficulty settings, New Game Plus that allows you to carry over progress from your previous run, a race limited challenge mode for the more hardcore players... There are a ton of systems in this game to ensure player satisfaction!

You can view not only any intimacy scenes with the heroines that you have already seen, but even normal story scenes and personal scenes of any heroine! You can even change the Awakened status of the heroines and view the scenes again to see the differences!
For anyone who may not be a big fan of SRPGs but wants to enjoy the story, then the easy mode's "Win Skip" function is a system made just for you. You can also choose to win skip specific battles rather than whole sections as well.

The harder modes, on the other hand, are awaiting those who wish for a thrilling challenge! In fact, if story isn't really your thing, there is also a battle royale mode available after clearing the game once that cuts out all story content and is just 100% SRPG gameplay!
