Manufactured at the "VEB Waggonbau Goerlitz" factory in Germany, these versatile doubledecker cars were used on regional passenger transport by Deutsche Reichsbahn and then by Deutsche Bahn, being repainted into various paintschemes through the years, this particular car uses a more recent one, being modernised. They are 26,8m in length, sit on Gorlitz VI bogeys with disk brakes, have a top speed of 120km/h and are present in other countries also, such as Romania, Czech Republic and Poland.
