Left abandoned and alone by those who raised him, Quartz needed to grow up fast if he and his five little brothers were going to survive. He worked hard. Never let them down. Never faltered in his surrogate role. Quartz sacrificed everything to give them all the best life he could.
And then, one night, everything was taken from him. His home. His family. All of it.
Just… Gone.
Unable to cope with the grief at his perceived failure, Quartz allowed himself to float out to sea on his fishing boat. He didn't know where he was going. He didn't care if he ever got there. He didn't know if there was anywhere to get to.
Days later, the people of an unknown village on a continent Quartz didn’t even know existed spot a small fishing boat bobbing on the horizon. Quartz thought his journey had ended. But for Quartz, unconscious and dehydrated, it was just the beginning.
CLASSIC JRPG DONE RIGHT
The Brothers is a classically styled 2D JRPG featuring Octopath Traveller inspired combat, with modern features you can't live without: Auto saving, quest logs, a built in encyclopaedia and a digital manual just scratch the surface.NOT THE SAME STORY YOU'VE BEEN PLAYING SINCE THE 16-BIT DAYS
The Brothers isn't a tale about a chosen one stopping The Big Bad. You're not a soldier. A child of prophecy. You're a young man on a journey of discovery, having been given something you thought you'd never have again - hope.Left abandoned and alone by those who raised him, Quartz needed to grow up fast if he and his five little brothers were going to survive.
