This medieval town was built on top of a prominent rock on the ocean shore, built from stones and pine trees in the area. Its streets are narrow and zigzagged, interrupted here and there by smaller and larger spaces. The city lies on a hillside, so the roads are sloping, and the sight of the stairs are not rare. A clock tower rises in the middle of the city, serving as an excellent guide for travelers lost in the streets.
