1편의 후속작으로 파티/전투 방식 외에는 1편과 동일하다. 전과 다르게, 파티는 사람으로만 구성되고, 사람에게 인형/몬스터를 파트너로 마치 장비처럼 설정하는 방식으로 바뀌었다. 사람에 따라서 파트너로 설정가능한 인형/몬스터가 정해져 있고, 설정자체가 불가능한 경우도 존재한다. 기존에 mp를 사용했던 것과 달리 게임내의 재화를 마나로 이용한다. 더 강한 마법일수록 더 많은 비용이 들기 때문에, 남발할 수 없게 되어있다. 그렇지만 기본적으로 상자에서 나오는 장비를 끼고, 상자에서 나오는 돈으로도 충분하고, 소모량을 감소해주는 장비도 있어서 그렇게까지 압박은 없는 편. 팁 ・1편과 마찬가지로 전투에서 패배하면 타이틀로 가므로 저장을 생활화. ・1편과 달리 모든 조각상이 회복시켜주지 않으므로 주의. ・벽에 대고 움직이는 것만으로도 전투가 발생한다. 조각상 근처에서 이를 이용해 레벨을 올리자. ・도망은 레벨이 높을 수록 성공 확률이 높다. ・해당 챕터에서만 나오는 등의 놓칠 수 있는 요소가 존재한다. 아쉬운 점은 전과 마찬가지로 미로 같은 맵, 랜덤 인카운터. 놓칠 수 있는 요소. 더 나아진 점은 1편에 비해 전투, 주요 스토리에 성우가 더해졌고, 애니메이션, 분량이 더 늘었다. 1편을 재미있게 즐겼다면, 2편도 즐길 수 있을 것이다.
