이번에 번들로 세일하길래 추억팔이겸 구매했는데 3편은 혹시나 추억보정으로 인해 해볼만 할까 싶어 손대봤더니 한번 구린건 세월이 지나 추억보정 되도 구리고 구린 추억이구나 함을 새삼 느꼈다. 켜자마자 레이스 한번 해보고선 어처구니가 없어서 삭제했다 그래픽이 전작인 2와 카니지 보다도 더 퇴보한듯 하다. 물론 실제로는 더 좋아진거긴 한데 정확히 표현하졈 게임 분위기에 드럽게 안어울린다. 심지어 로우 플리곤인 1편보다도 이질감이 심한데 이 게임 특성상 분위기가 좀 녹슬고 거칠고 투박한 쇳덩어리 질감이 나야 어울리는데 이 3편의 그래픽은 영화 분노의 질주 시리즈를 의식하고 벤치마킹 했는지 차들이 전체적으로 야광에 블링블링한 느낌이다. 차 그래픽 질감은 이런데 배경은 여전히 전작들의 분위기처럼녹슬고 거칠어서 차랑 배경의 이질감이 극심하다 그래픽은 뭐 그렇다 쳐도 레이싱 게임에서 가장 중요한게 바로 조작감인데 여러 리뷰어들의 혹평 그대로 차량의 무게감이 없어도 너무 없어서 차가 지면에 떠서 붕붕 날라다니는 느낌이다. 이 시리즈의 전매특허이자 장점이 묵직한 쇳덩어리가 쾅쾅 부딫히고 날라다니고 깨지는건데 그걸 싸그리 말아먹는 가볍고 엉성한 무게감과 조작감,타격감을 자랑한다 전작들과 후속작인 4편이 레이스에선 지고 있어도 특유의 이리 깨지고 저리 깨지는 묵직한 타격감 때문에 그 자체로도 재밌고 통쾌한데 3편은 부딫히면 내 차가 솜방망이 모냥 이리 붕붕 저리 붕붕이라 통쾌함은 커녕 발암에 빡치기만 한다 조작감과 무게감,타격감 이 작품이 갖는 타 레이싱 게임과의 차별성이자 장점이 사라진 가장 모순적인 작품이다 시리즈 최악임은 당연, 명작인 2편과 카니지와 비교하는건 감히 해서도 안될일이고 단언하건데 그래픽과 출시년도만 보고 설마 그래도 고전작인 1편보다는 낫겠지 하는 생각 조차도 하지말길 두번 단언하건데 1편이 3편보다 훨씬 재밌다 이 3편 빼고 나머지 다 따로 구매하는 가격보다 번들로 한꺼번에 산 가격이 더 싸서 구매했지 따로 구매하는건 세일로 사도 아까울 정도의 망겜. 이거 해보면 1편,2편,카니지가 얼마나 명작인지 그리고 호불호 갈리는 4편도 나름 준수한 작품이라는걸 다시한번 실감하게된다 추억 보정으로도 도저희 못살릴 작품
