Super Cave Boy focusses on 2d platforming mechanics but with a catch. You may only use a limited set of actions in every stage. For example one stage might only allow you to use 3 x Jumps and 2 x Pickaxe attacks and nothing else. Another might allow you to use 2 x climbing and 1 x picking objects. You will end up observing the stage and finding a way to use your tools in a creative way since they are very flexible.
