ClasSimVR is a serious game and an exploratory platform targeted at helping pre-service teacher learn about challenging student behaviour.
It is a prototype that introduces users to an approach to supporting classroom behaviour called School-Wide Positive Behaviour Interventions and Supports (SWPBIS).
Gameplay involves users moving through an introductory scene where the core elements of an SWPBIS approach are explained.
Users are then transported into a virtual classroom where they will encounter three scenarios involving a virtual student displaying a low-level challenging behaviour. Users are required to select and then act out one of nine different SWPBIS strategies focused on supporting low-level challenging behaviours.
