Compared with the previous work, more explosive weapons such as the under barrel grenade launchers and disposable rocket launchers have been added.

E.E.R.I.E 2 has diverse environments, from vast suburban fields to enclosed libraries, combined with different numbers and behaviors of enemies and friendly forces, and finally with the assistance of heavy weapons such as armored vehicles, presenting a variety of combat scenes.
