99 Fails is a 2D open world RPG & Metroidvania set in Zeebo's surreal, recurring nightmare wherein his body painfully morphs, to music by legendary David Wise, set in an entirely new fantasy universe called Neebota.




Zeebo and his friends are fascinated by portals to our very own earth that have started to appear on Neebota. Right as Zeebo & friends get invested in chasing these portals down, Zeebo's parents die in a car accident with Zeebo as the only survivor. Devasted, Zeebo starts having terrible nightmares wherein he's morphing and where he faces fiendishly difficult challenges he just can't seem to quite overcome. Is his mind trying to tell him something?
