Vanilla Plus is trying to preserve the original game feel even more while still keeping RealRTCW QOL improvements.

Vanilla Plus features:

Vanilla weapon models and textures
Vanilla pickup models
Vanilla weapon and ambient sounds
Vanilla weapon balance
Vanilla loading screens
Removal of the recoil effect
Achievements, additional enemies mode are available

Its recommended to use "Classic" arsenal option for the best vanilla-like experience.

If you want to get back to HD version of the mod - just disable Vanilla Plus DLC in the RealRTCW properties on Steam.
