Tales from Candleforth is a collection of fairy tales that were written on top of a forbidden book many years ago to hide its content. Years later, the dark text is bleeding out and onto the pages of the tales, mixing with them and twisting the stories.
The tale is about to begin...
In this first tale we'll meet Sarah, a 16 year old girl that's left alone to run the family apothecary. Sarah's grandmother went missing a while ago, but one day, she finds clues that she might still be alive. As Sarah discovers new powers that only the women in her family can inherit, she adventures into a world of occultism, mystery and horror to uncover the secrets her family is hiding and discover the part she plays in all of it.
Go along with Sarah on this trip through madness and unravel the mysteries hiding behind the surface of Candleforth. Solve challenging puzzles and interact with a mysterious world to reveal the darkness of this twisted tale.

자신을 키워준 행방불명 된 할머니를 찾아나서는 퍼즐게임입니다. 게임 내 으스스한 분위기나 고딕풍의 그래픽 표현은 마음에 들었지만 제 기준으로는 독창적인 퍼즐이 보이지 않았고 전체적으로 매우 밋밋하고 단순했어요. 눈속임, 눈에 잘 띄지 않는 것을 만들어놓고 헤매게 만드는 것이 꽤 보였고 스토리 완성도도 매우 아쉬웠어요. 첫 장에서는 퍼즐 하나하나 풀 때 마다 살짝 공포스러운 장면, 그러니까 모탈 컴뱃의 Fatality 장면과 비슷한 성격의 연출이 나오는데 기괴하면서도 우와 멋있다! (?) 라는 느낌이 들었는데 그 이후 부터는 그런 연출장면이 싹 사라졌는데 제작 과정에서 아이디어 고갈로 인한 누락이 아닌가 하는 추측이 됐습니다. 몇몇 퍼즐에서는 문양이 너무 작게 그려져서 불편했고요.. 정식 출시되기 전 체험판으로 했었는데 그 때는 연출도 좋고 퍼즐도 나름 괜찮게 짜여졌다는 느낌을 받았기에 찜 해놓고 이번에 구매한건데 딱 체험판 분량까지만 퀄리티가 괜찮고 그 이후부터는 아이디어가 고갈됐는지 실망스러운 느낌의 연속이었습니다. 체험판에 속았다는 기분까지 들었어요. 그래픽만 보면 열심히 만들었다는 인상은 충분히 받았는데 퍼즐과 스토리 퀄리티가 상당히 낮다고 느껴서 추천드리기는 주저하게 되네요.. 재밌지는 않지만 그렇다고 못 만든 것 까지는 아니에요. 그냥 그저그런 퀄임 그래픽 ★★★☆☆ - 그래픽 표현이 개성있었다고 느낌 몰입도 ★★☆☆☆ - 퍼즐이 꽤 단순하고 독창적이지 않음 스토리 ☆☆☆☆☆ - 스토리를 전혀 신경쓰지 않은 느낌. 게임 컨셉을 위한 스토리(?)
