As a captain of the Yamorn guard you have to do whatever it takes to save as many innocent lives, even if by eradicating those already claimed by this affliction and spearheading the way out of this godforsaken hellhole.
As a plague doctor, after receiving a mysterious letter, you depart to Yamorn with the sole purpose and duty to cleanse all the infected, uncover the secrets behind this infection and eradicate the root of it.
Explore the ruined town and its surrounding areas, rummage its remains for materials, find and craft new offensive and defensive items.

Appropriately clunky, but engaging metroidvania game. I don't agree with the review that this game is souls-like because there are no souls-like elements in this game. (Loss of 'souls' proven by death, 'bonfire', 'estus', ......) The game introduces a simple crafting and skill point system, but overall it feels more like a classic action platformer games. * This game is actively being updated. The controller was not supported properly while I was mainly playing the game, but I checked right before writing the review and it was possible to play with the controller without any problems.
