Let's talk about how this game was created. Long ago, it was in the era of PlayStation 3. I really liked a game called Drag-on Dragoon 3. At the end of the game, the music of The Last Song sung by Eir Aoi left an indelible impression on me. Then I had idea to make a good and depressing game like Yoko Taro. I combined the element of rougelite, Vampire Survivors, Taiko no Tatsujin and AutoChess. Thusthe game Songs of Death was born.
Background
The setting of this title inherits the world view of “Songs of”series, which is a recreated world based on the Three Kingdoms. There are anima, sword arts, kungfu, science and technology, firearms and so on. The historical facts may not check out but it doesn't matter. This is a world of immortality and fantasy. As for the plot, it is a story about Ma Chao's revenge on Cao Cao. It is a standalone section. You can have a good time whether you played another "Songs of" series game or not.
Gameplay
The player needs to block the enemy's attack by clicking on beat, just like the rhythm game. Defeating enemy gives players EXP to level up and get new weapons. Upgrade the weapons to two stars for the bonds and build your own combat style. Make sure you can survive and keep defeating enemies. The revenge is yours to take! If you get stuck, you can strengthen your ability by cultivating outside the combats. And the end game provides a more difficult Die-hard Mode for players to challenge.
