Cakes & Guns: Extra Content

This DLC adds 9 Pistols, 14 Cakes, 200+ new events, ~100 new painting illustrations & a lot of other content (described below) to the base game.



Owning a matchlock pistol or a pocket cannon will usually (not always!) protect you from those cursed robbers in the night. Cakes are mostly a source of fleeting pleasure, just like in real life.



There's a new visitable location (The Shallowide River, a source of health), a new friend (additional friends will be added later for free), a new shop that sells cakes & Kaff, new side-jobs (hooray for becoming a diswasher!) plus six opportunity cards.


The Giant Poison Toad is part of the exotic nature you may discover while visiting the river.

The new "opportunity to buy a pistol" cards (such as meeting the Madame Cannon, who sells pocket cannons) can be found in locations like the Dark Alleys & Bar Avenue, allowing you to meet someone willing to sell their treasured pistol if you can find the money quickly (they're not cheap).

The new cakes & pistols can be also used as an inspiration to create still-life paintings when that new painting type becomes available in the base game (~2023). New free content has been also added into the base game during the release of this DLC.

This DLC is not meant to radically change the gameplay, it's your best option to directly support the devs while getting extra content.
