Mencia. A never was tale, is a styled rogue-like, 2D platform, in which you will have to face agains an invasion of cute aliens using the properties a magic sword will give you. Let's go!

Mencia. A never was tale is a rogue like 2D platforms desing to be difficult.

This game tells us about Mencia's story, as well as Pinchur. In the Late Middle Age, Pinchur, the protective magic sword of the reign, searchs desperately for a brave and strong man who is capable of facing a long lasting battle againts an alien invasion which have destroyed everything that were on their way. The only person alive in the whole reign is Mencia, a little girl who spends her time in taking care of animals and harvesting the crops, she is the chosen one, by process of elimination, like the saviour of the reign.

Guided by the magic sword, not by own will, Mencia will have to make her way through 4 levels, helped by the teletransportation power of the sword, facing all kind of different traps and aliens who have the intention of turning everything in front of them into squares until reaching their leader. Also "squared", of course.

Breath in, Mencia. You can do it.

You will be able to play "Mencia: A never was tale" with not only keyboard and mouse, but controller as well. The controls are simple, jump, attack, throw the sword and teleport next to it, but the speedness and need to combine these movements will make this game a challenge out of it.
¡Careful! If you turn into a square you must start over again.


This game has been developed by Timber Films in colaboration with the students of the 3D Animation, Games and Interactive Enviroments grade of the Higher Vocational Training of Camara de Comercio de Sevilla Center.
