"Rotterdam" is a heavily armed West Indiaman built for the Rotterdam chamber of the Geoctrooieerde Westindische Compagnie. This is a strong ocean going vessel built to withstand storms of the Atlantic Ocean. Due to armament and size ships of this class were often mistaken for heavy frigates or light 4th rates and thus avoided. Beautifully decorated stern shows that it was built for a very rich trader group in the Compagnie.

About premium consumable vessels.

Premium ships cannot be captured by players or traded. You can request this vessel from the admiralty once a day as long as you don't have the same vessel already in your docks. You will be able to request the frame and planking wood type when ordering a ship. Admiralty requests for this ship will be completed instantly.

Imported DLC ships allows you to ignore hauling of resources and crafting receiving the ship for free: Just buy guns, repairs, and other consumables and you are good to go. If you don't plan to use the ship for combat - for example for hauling - you don't even need guns, repairs and consumables.

DLC will appear in your redeemable list after you dock to any port. You must have an appropriate rank to sail it fully crewed.
