Adrenaline Rampage is a shoot’em up survival game based on dodge and run and platformer mechanics with roguelite elements. Set on the vast space station, the game is split into unlockable levels, each with different objectives and level design. Most of the time the completion of objectives requires careful leveling-up and upgrading character. The players also accumulate in-game currency that can be used to purchase new characters and permanent upgrades (perks).
The cosmic city "Capella-3" is a symbol of human persistence and the pursuit of knowledge. The city disappeared after an experiment that turned its citizens into monsters. Its artificial intelligence was also infected by a virus. The city remained undiscovered for decades. As it turns out, "Capella-3" holds answers to humanity's fundamental questions. Now, come what may, it's crucial to continue the mission despite the losses. There won't be a second chance.

Perks
Perks are special abilities: energy shield, health regeneration, personal defence drone, turret, platform lasers and much, much more - over 35 different perks in total. There are 12 different perks that can be used in each match.Each perk can be upgraded and with each level the perks become stronger and acquire new properties.
Mutants
The space mutagen had turned former people into something... it's hard to describe, but it needs to be destroyed. And as luck would have it, mutants move in huge crowds. Powerful weapons of mass destruction and cunning tactics are the best recipe for curing them.Weapon

Each character has unique weapons and characteristics: sniper, axe master, assaulter and others. The combination of weapon capabilities with many perks allows you to create unique builds.Character development system
No matter how tough the fight is, you always make money. At the hub, for the in-game currency you can increase your character stats and even acquire new skills.Gameplay meta
Even though the progress inside the core loop is reset every time, players have access to permanent upgrades in meta gameplay:- perks
- new skills
- new characters
- new difficulty levels
Upgrades give passive bonuses to certain stats and unique abilities.
Upgrades are purchased in the game’s hub for in-game currency (picked up on levels).
Gameplay core
The core loop is essentially killing enemies and accumulating enough XP to level up and upgrade your character in order to be able to survive and complete the level’s objective. The objectives can be slightly different:
- it can be repelling all the enemy waves and defeating the boss,
- enduring a certain amount of time,
- or even going from A to B (level walkthrough).
So each of the game’s 9 levels offers something new in terms of objective, level design, enemies and way to achieve victory. Once the session is finished all the progress in core gameplay is reset
