Poöf vs the cursed kitty is a mix between tower defense, and platforming action, a game focused on hardcore gameplay, tight controls and choices, inspired by games such as Mario Bros Arcade Game, Orcs Must Die and Super Crate Box.
To get rid of your enemies, simply jump on them, or place towers to attack and poos to slow down, use fire knives or bombs, ice winds to freeze enemies and golden eggs for Armageddon ! You can also control time: slow it down in danger moments and accelerate it to increase the difficulty and score more points. How fast will you play?

게임 자체는 분명히 재미있는 게임이긴 하다. 적어도 게임 속의 모든 미션을 클리어할 때 까진 재미있게 했다. 문제는, 이 게임이 상당히 불친절하고 인터페이스가 지나치게 성의가 없다는 것. 게임을 제작할 때 가장 중요한 것이 '재미'라지만, 재미만 있고 편의성 따윈 개나 줘버린 건 조금 너무한거지. 가장 심각한 문제점은, 옵션이 없다! 뭐 이런 게임에 V싱크, 안티얼라이싱 이런거 바란건 결코 아니지만, 하다못해 볼륨 조절이나 해상도조절, 키 설정 같은 건 가능하게 만들어줬어야 할 것 아닌가. 앞에 설명한 것이 전혀 없고, 게임 안에서 저런 설정들을 바꿀 수 있는 방법이 전혀 없다고 보면 된다. 거기에 명색이 리더보드를 지원하는 게임이면서, 플레이 스테이터스 보기가 너무나도 불편하다. 도전과제들조차 불친절하다. 그렇다고 뭐 거창하게 숨겨져있을만한 도전과제들도 전혀 아니고. 그 외에 게임하면서 심각하리만치 자주 겪은 버그들도 굉장히 눈에 띌 수 밖에 없는 점이라 하겠다. 게임 자체가 재미있기에 일단 추천을 누르긴 했지만, 사실은 별로 추천하진 않는 게임. 본인은 사실상 정가로 구매한 게임이긴 하지만, 사실 정가로 구입할 게임은 결코 아니다. (심지어 사운드트랙까지 샀는데, BGM이 그렇게 좋냐면, 글쎄........) 하다못해 도전과제용으로도 그닥 편하진 않은 게임이다. 6시간에 100% 찍고 총 도전과제는 38개이니 판단은 각자 할 일이지만, 개인적으로는 비추천.
