Pixel Piracy Online is an entirely new game set in the same universe as Pixel Piracy; it's a complete remake of the base game. In this game, you assume the role of a pirate, and your purpose is to make a name for yourself.
Pirate MMO
The goal is to create a Pirate MMO that players/pirates can call home; the game is currently in pre/pre-production, and screenshots don't represent the final product yet. You will play alone or with friends, be part of the big pirate community and build the world and gather resources, farm and feed others, socialize, pillage settlements, level up your character and crew, min-max to become the best, loot different epic loot, craft to survive the hostile world and most importantly battle others.
Pixel Piracy Online runs on persistent centralized non-sharded servers that require an internet connection. Ownership of the game gives you access to these online centralized servers.

Lore
Pixel Piracy Online's story takes place a super long time after the first Pixel Piracy game. All pirates got wiped out by Holy Mother Shrimp, and now life is starting again with a twist that everyone remembers their past. Here, dead men will tell tales.
In Development Disclaimer
The game is currently in pre-production/development; some content and descriptions on the store might change as to what 1.0 will include, but the community will be heavily involved in the production process and will be informed of potential changes.
There will also be closed curated testing rounds where the community can try and test the game; the first tests will happen in 2023/Q3-Q4.
The game will not be available on Steam Early-Access but will be released as a full 1.0 release and expanded further with content in 2025 or later.
