The game starts out with easy missions showing you the basics. I'd recommend playing these or you can skip and go straight to the high action bounties. 

v0.1 is about 1-2 hours of gameplay and consist of a simple gameplay loop of taking a bounty, finding a raider and eliminating the raider. This will change in later versions.
