Gameplay
The Red Sun is a challenging, 2-D platformer that provides the player with with a set of precise, but simple controls, including a jump, dash and wall jump. Originally inspired by games like Hollow Knight, Rainworld, and Halo, the Red Sun offers tight and satisfying combat that requires both skill and strategy to outmaneuver and defeat the world's enemies.
The game offers 10 levels with 10 unique bosses, along with their associated game mechanics and enemies. Each level is a test of skill and determination, but one that even the most novice of players can learn to overcome.
The Red Sun's enemies are intelligent and powerful, and the odds are often stacked against the player. A combination of stealth, evasion, and a little bit of brute force are the key to success.
Several factions vie for control over the remnants of the destroyed city and its resources. Some are friends, many are foes. But it must be remembered that the enemy of your enemy might prove useful, if only for a few moments.
