Story premise

It's the year 2212, 120 years after a catastrophic war destroyed earth and forcing the remnants of humanity to be slung into the vast reaches of space to survive. Inside of a research facility, scientists of the militaristic faction Akova have been studying alien creatures, captured from a hostile and violent world.

You, a clone soldier, have been set for termination. Caught in a conflict between two worlds you are given a chance to escape your fate. By fighting your way through two hostile factions, the military forces of Akova, and the residents of the violent world of Rashor.

Gameplay premise

Slingshot Protocol is a fast-paced retro first-person shooter with intense combat, large arsenal of weapons and agile source-based movement. Navigate a variety of levels, from sci-fi facilities to a desolate and violent alien world. All while, strategically managing resources, and utilizing a wide variety of weapons to survive against fast and highly aggressive enemies.

Based on the early 3D first-person shooters of the 2000s era.

Developer

Slingshot protocol is fully made by a solo developer, me. After three years of working on the game in my spare time, I have been able to finalize a playable demo for people to enjoy. From coding, 3D modelling, gameplay, sound design, to the music, almost every aspect of the game has been made by myself. This demo represents a significant milestone in the development process, and I am hopeful that it will create enough interest that I might be able to work on it full time.
