Method of Entry is an exhilarating 5v5 competitive shooter designed to revitalize the tactical shooter genre with a fresh perspective. Our mission is to deliver an authentic "boots on the ground" experience by blending realistic mechanics with intense competitive gameplay.

At the heart of Method of Entry is the C.F.R.F (Competitive First, Realism Follows) philosophy. This guiding principle ensures that every game mechanic and design decision prioritizes competitive integrity while incorporating realism in a way that enhances, rather than hinders, gameplay. This approach sets Method of Entry apart, drawing inspiration from classic titles like the original SWAT and Rainbow Six series, Counter-Strike, and modern hits such as Escape from Tarkov and R6 Siege.

Method of Entry promises a sophisticated blend of core mechanics and immersive realism, designed to meet the demands of dedicated players while creating a compelling and believable combat environment. Our goal is to set a new standard in competitive shooters by delivering a game that balances precision, strategy, and authenticity. We eschew flashy hero abilities, arcade-like killstreaks, and unrealistic environments in favor of a more grounded and tactical approach. Our focus is on delivering a genuine tactical shooter that values precision and strategy.

We are also a game made by gamers, for gamers.  We want to pay attention to the small details that keep gamers coming back for more and add to the experience.  We are working hard to make sure our hand made animations are accurate to real world situations and that our custom made environments provide unique experiences that differ from location to location.

Community Involvement:

A highlight of our development process with Method of Entry is our dedication to involving the community whenever possible. While the initial vision for the game originated with us, we recognize that the game ultimately belongs to the players. We strongly believe that we are cut from the same cloth as the player base. Our entire dev team are gamers first, and we try to make every decision based on that experience. As such, we are committed to actively seeking and incorporating community feedback to shape the game’s evolution. Our development team will maintain a strong presence in our community Discord, where players can engage directly with us, and we offer multiple avenues for players to provide feedback, ensuring that your voice is heard and valued in the development of the game.

We also want to assure players that while we do intend to monetize the game through skins, camos, and other cosmetic options to help support the project, that no part of the core game experience will be locked behind a pay wall.  Ever!  The goal is to provide a meaningful and interesting continued value to the player base which will allow us to support the game while ensuring that no offering has any impact on gameplay.  We are a small dev team and while this does hinder us in some ways, it also keeps us free from outside influence that values money over the experience of our community.

Black Talon Group - (Attacker)

Expanding into North Africa and Eastern Europe, they became known for their expertise in asymmetric warfare, cyber operations, and counter-insurgency. Today, as a growing ideological threat destabilizes the modern world through terror and propaganda, BTG has been tasked with eliminating this menace. Operating in the shadows with ruthless efficiency, they have become an indispensable force in the fight to preserve global stability—loyal only to their contracts but feared by those who stand in their way."

The Collapse - (Defender)

"The Collapse emerged as a shadowy extremist movement, exploiting the dark web and social media to spread their ideology and recruit disillusioned individuals worldwide. Their origins trace back to a secretive network of radical intellectuals, rogue operatives, and cyber-warriors who believe modern society is a corrupt, unnatural construct that must be dismantled. Using encrypted platforms and misinformation campaigns, they operate as a decentralized force, manipulating global instability to fuel their cause. Though their leadership remains unknown, their influence has grown at an alarming rate, with cells conducting cyberattacks, sabotage, and acts of terror to accelerate the downfall of civilization. With no clear demands beyond the complete collapse of the modern world, they have become an existential threat—one that NATO has turned to Black Talon Group to neutralize before society crumbles beyond repair."
