Inspiration
While creature-collecting is often associated with the Pokémon series, Cosmic Coop actually draws its inspiration from titles like Viva Piñata and Neko Atsume. The creature collection element is very similar to how you meet new creatures in those titles. Cosmic Coop is also inspired by classic farming games such as Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, and even inspiration from Forager.
