Into the Depths of Despair (ItDod)

I woke up in a room, but I was never asleep. The air is heavy, carrying a scent I can’t recognize. I see with eyes that are not my own, feel a body that doesn’t feel like mine.

The walls seem to breathe, the shadows shift when I’m not looking. There’s no sound except my own breathing—I am alone. Or am I?

Something is keeping me here. I don’t remember how I got to this place, but I know there must be a reason. Is there a way out? Or am I sinking deeper into despair?
