About this game:
"Beyond the Mist and Mountains" is a Japanese-style horror mystery puzzle-solving game, including puzzle-solving, hiding, chasing, visual novels and other gameplay; the game takes the plot as its core to present a series of mysterious yet touching stories. The currently open trial chapter tells about five years ago when a sophomore student named Mayu Igarashi took a midnight train to So-Kyo City to attend a social flash activity organized by an obscure supernatural forum. She disappeared after getting off at a station called "Kisaragi Platform", which has since vanished. Shizuno Yokoyama has never given up looking for her girlfriend Mayu. He opened a detective agency in his hometown specializing in "bizarre tasks", just searching for clues about Mayu's whereabouts. As his investigation deepened, he found himself increasingly entangled in this fog...
