Summary
In Station Inc, you own a Space Station. You will have to manage and expand it by micromanaging what each Staff does, doing your own research, but also by commercializing your research to keep your funds from burning up in the atmosphere. But be careful, your Staff doesn't enjoy being hungry or being not able to breathe, so keep care of the living conditions.

What Is It Really About?
Station Inc is, like running a business, it's about use of resources and about decisions whose long term impact needs to be considered.
When the Game begins, your operation has very few resources to spend, and will have to build the station accordingly. Adding to that, your funds are few, and you will have to use them efficiently and creatively to survive. With time and research, you will gain new ways to gain funds, for example specializing your station.

Specializations?
After reaching the second stage, you may choose one of three specializations:

- Tourism, build a space hotel and get rich people to spend lots of money aboard your station

- Research, further invest in research by adding more research equipment and maybe leave orbit for that...

- Space Logistics, act as the hub. Other companies may dock their ship on your station. Your service is refuelling, repairing, docking and launching

These Specialisations will be what you will focus your station on and will become your main source of income, but also of headaces.


Story
Apart from a tutorial, the game does not contain any story elements,
