Rei Tsukiyora is a jaded man who runs a pawnshop in Miyogawa’s seedy underworld. One evening, he comes across a despondent Akari Hashimoto fleeing from her captors. Unable to abandon a young girl to the dangerous streets, Rei begrudgingly takes her in, offering her a reprieve until she gets her bearings in order.

One thing leads to another, however, Akari’s stay becomes more… permanent then he had envisioned. For Akari, who has only led a high-flying life, and for Rei, a man who lives off the skin of his teeth, life together is… manageable (if not amusing).

While Akari may have renounced her past life as a heiress, fate won’t let them go that easily. Akari’s entrancing looks and eminent status catch the eyes of Ryuichi Satou. As the head of Miyogawa’s largest company, he spares no resources on seducing her. An irate Ryuichi even accosts the pair at Rei’s residence, though Akari flatly rejects him.

Humiliated, the scorned prodigy concocts a grand scheme that will lead to the hostile takeover of Akari’s company, and eventually, her heart. He swears to sully every fiber of her innocence. As for Rei… Ryuichi vows to bury him in an everlasting abyss.

Heartsworn Abyss is an (avoidable) NTR game. Though the majority of our scenes are NTR-themed, it can be avoided with smart planning, with perhaps a happy ending for our main couple in the end. Maybe.
