Grist is a sci-fi RPG that harkens back to the glowing CRTs of the 1980s. Take control of a space-faring vessel and a crew of dysfunctional mercenaries, exploring the galaxy while a millenia-old civilisation collapses around you from plague, war, and the encroaching mysteries known only as Nightmares. Set to a synthwave driven soundtrack, Grist features a turn-based combat system that draws inspiration from CRPGS as well as contemporary boardgames and table-top RPGs. Build a deck of special orders by choosing which crew to deploy on a mission, equip them with powerful weapons and implants - but be warned. Every power has its price, and some might just be too much to bear.

This demo consists of the opening third of the introductory scenario. It features the same game mechanics, classes, items and events as the full game but ends after the first act.
