LIO: Special Edition

"LIO" is a completely free game, from the very beginning to the very end.
My desire was to be able to share this product with as many people as possible, therefore i decided to not lock it behind a paywall.
However, i also wanted to leave a door open for those who believe my job is worth of a small financial support, and that's what the Special Edition is for!
By purchasing the Special Edition you will:

Unlock the "Extras" section from the main menu

The extras section is divided in five chapters:

• - Special Edition: Introduction
  A full explanation of what the special edition is, why it exists, how to use it and what it includes in detail.
  
• - The Making of "LIO"
  An in-depth recap of the project development across the past 3 years. Including pictures from preliminary tests, scrapped content, explanations regarding my artistical choices and prototypes.
  An insight of my journey as a game developer, my ideas and visions, how i came up with LIO, the hardships that developing such a risky game brings and some tips for those who want to pursue this path.
  
• - Commentary Mode
  A full in depth explanation of the various scenes that compose the game, both under the artistical and technical side.
  How they were realized, how i came up with them, where i took inspiration from, the techniques i used to create them more efficiently and adapt them across multiple platforms.
  
• - Extras Gallery
  A collection of pictures from all the stages of development, including but not limited to early concept arts, prototypes, notes and sketches, early tests, scrapped content, alternative versions and much much more.
  
• - The World, The Lore and The Characters
  A section covering the lore and characters of LIO in depth. I don't want to make too many spoilers or anticipations, find out for yourself.

Unlock the "Character Customization" editor from the main menu

You will be able to slightly modify LIO's appearance through a section in the game's main menu.
Please note that this is just a small addition to the extras section. The modifies you can apply are limited and in order to preserve the intended artistical vision they'll be applied to your character only during playable sequences. I still however wanted to add it as a cool extra element for those who decide to support the game. I hope you'll understand!

In the end, the main point of this DLC is giving some small "thank you" presents to those who wish to support my work economically.
Think of it as a sort of "support the developer edition" if you want!
