리처드&앨리스를 이루는 많은 요소는 게임이라기 보다는 책의 페이지를 한 장씩 넘기는 느낌이다. 그만큼 플레이를 하는데서 오는 즐거움은 거의 없지만 한 장 한 장 넘어갈 때마다 진행되는 두 주인공의 이야기가 흥미롭다. 특히 이야기를 풀어나감에 있어서 과거와 현재가 교차되는 방식이 인상깊었다. 그리고 말미로 갈 수록 현재와 과거가 만나게되고, 결국 두 스토리라인이 만날 때 이 이야기는 끝난다. 어쨌든 리처드&앨리스는 서양식 비주얼노블이라고 봐야할 것 같다. 그런 만큼 일러스트나 음성지원이 조금 아쉽긴 하지만 가능한 시스템 내에서 표현은 풍부하게 해주고 있다. 효과음이나 배경음악은 꽤 괜찮은 수준. 저렴한 가격에 책 한 권 사서 읽는다는 생각으로 플레이하면 꽤 즐거운 시간을 보낼 수 있을 것이다. 다시 빙하기가 일어난 세상의 한 구석에서 벌어진 슬픈이야기. 두 말 않고 추천. *한글화 됐으면 좋겠다. **기본적으로 저장파일이 C:\Users\'유저이름'\Saved Games\Richard & Alice 안에 저장되는데, 처음에 게임을 시작하기 전에 반드시 '유저이름' 부분의 폴더명을 영어로 바꿔야 한다. 한글인 상태로 그냥 두면 인식을 못하고 저장도 안 됨.
