인상깊었던 동인 슈팅게임을 꼽으라면 대부분은 화려한 성우진의 exceed나, 또는 대전형식의 스구리, 혹자는 서방시리즈나 헬싱커등을 언급하겠지만 개인적으로는 diadra empty도 그에 뒤지지않는 명작이라고 생각한다. 타 게임처럼 그렇게까지 화려한 장점은 없지만 괜찮은 ost, 감성적인 스토리, 고난이도에 다회차요소등. 소소한 장점이 많아서 즐거운 게임. 슈팅장르에선 찾아보기 힘든 횡스크롤류라는 점도 플러스요소중에 하나. 다만 도전과제 몇개가 깨지지않거나 특정윈도우 버전에서는 실행불가인점은 참으로 아쉬울따름.
