Air Traffic Control will guide you from startup to shut-down and also controls the other aircraft around you. Those other aircraft are not robotic as they are in other simulators, but they interact with the world in the same way as your own aircraft does. They will fight the same cross winds and turbulence as you encounter, they will need more runway to stop when the weather conditions are not favorable. Just like real pilots do, you will watch their take-off to be prepared for what your take-off will be like. It’s still simulated but it gets very close to real aviation!

처음 샀을 땐 후회막심이었는데 하다 보니 인생겜으로 등극했습니다. 바닐라 상태는 그저 그렇지만 FSX나 P3D에서는 돈 주고 팔 듯한 초고퀄 애드온 시너리들이 무료인게 정말 많습니다. 게다가 바람이나 기타 물리적 간섭에 의한 기체 반응은 경쟁 민항심과는 차별화될 만큼 비행 모델이 훌륭한데, 특히 상용헬기들은 현직 휴이 조종사, 헬기 조종사들에게 현재 최고의 헬기심이라고 평가받는 DCS의 UH-1휴이에 거의 필적한 수준!! (위험하지만 유튜브에 x-plane에서 헬기 조종 연습 후에 실제 헬기를 몰며 호버링 하는 영상이 있습니다. ) 괜찮은 상용기 한대에(IXEG사의 기체라던가 FlightFactor사의 기체라던가.) 적당한 유료 애드온들 몇가지 질러서 하면 플심보다 돈 안들이고 아주 만족스럽게 비행할 수 있습니다. 또한, FSX와 P3D의 꽃이자 끝판왕인 PMDG사의 보잉 기체도 엑플용으로 개발중이라고 하니 뭐.. 엑플의 진면목은 해가지면 나오는데, 도시의 야경은 정말 실제로 비행하고 있다는 느낌까지 줄 정도로 압도적입니다.(10.50업데이트 이후 더 좋아진 느낌) 그래픽적인 요소를 보면 FSX와 P3D는 나온 지 오래됐고 즐기시는 분들이 많기에 걸출한 제작사가 뽑아내는 유&무료 애드온들이 다채롭고 많아 투자 여부에 따라 실사급의 퀄리티를 뽑아 낼 수 있어 두 게임에 비해 묻히는 느낌인데, 문제는 이러려면 돈이 어마어마하게 들어갑니다.. 엑플은 애드온을 지른 FSX와 P3D는 못 따라가지만, 바닐라 자체로는 엑플쪽이 나은 느낌이며 신의 한수 무료 애드온인 RTH와 여러 무료 고퀄 애드온 시너리들 덕에 부족하다는 느낌은 안 듭니다. 그 외의 단점은 병맛 ATC에 난감한 UI, FSX나 P3D에 비해 국내 커뮤니티 활성화가 많이 안되어있어서 조금이라도 영어가 안되시면 정보 얻으며 즐기시기엔 살짝 무리가 있다는 정도가 있겠네요. 현재 스팀 평가는 복합적이지만, 전 FSX나 P3D에 비해 나으면 나았지 부족할게 없는 민항심이라고 생각합니다. 엑플은 최근 주목받고 있는 만큼 훌륭한 애드온들도 많이 나오고 있으며 32비트 기반인 FSX, P3D와는 다르게 64비트 기반이라 발전 가능성이 무궁무진합니다. 위에 언급했듯 비행심의 본질인 비행모델은 엑플쪽이 훨씬 좋구요. 곧 x-plane 11이 나오는데, 10이 처음 나왔을 때처럼 안정화까진 시간이 걸리지 않을까 싶고 대부분의 메이저 유&무료 애드온들은 11의 지원을 약속했으니 비심 좋아하시는 분들은 지르셔도 후회하지 않으실꺼라고 자신합니다! (그렇다고는 해도 나온지 상당히 지난 게임이고 11이 나오는 만큼 할인할때 사면 더 좋겠죠??)
