“Void Shadows” is the first DLC for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, offering a massive amount of content with about 15 hours of fresh gameplay and a new romanceable companion. Fully integrated into the game’s main story, this DLC will allow players to delve into the depths of their voidship first-hand in an enthralling new story that will pit them against an unfamiliar enemy trying to bring ruin to the von Valancius dynasty from within.

로그트레이더 첫 출시 때 플레이 후 1년이 지났다. DLC가 출시되었다길래 해보니까 1년 전과는 겉모습만 같고 훨씬 나아진 게임이 되어있었는데, 이 DLC는 그것의 아이싱이자 화룡정점이라 할 수 있겠다. DLC로 추가되는 캐릭터는 아주 강력하지만 그렇다고 밸런스 문제를 일으킬 정도는 아니며, 스토리 역시 상당히 풍부하게 추가된다. 함선은 이전까지 돌아다니는 궤짝의 느낌에서 본격적인 "함선"의 느낌을 살리기 시작했고, 내부에서 일어나는 사건 역시 많아져서 즐길 거리가 많아졌다. 다만, DLC 등장 몹이나 전장이 상당히 난이도높게 측정되어 있어서 준비없이 적을 맞닥드리면 세이브로드를 하게 될 것이므로, 각 챕터마다 착실하게 캐릭터들을 키워서 다음 단계로 넘어가는 걸 권장한다. 본인의 생각으로는 필수 DLC.
