Shadey’s Quest is an autobattler roguelike featuring character building and tactial auto-combat. Shadey is a small monster who dreams of becoming the strongest Shadow and defeating the fearsome King of Shadows . He is not that strong (or smart), but he is full of energy and determination. Also, he is very good at is eating! You must guide Shadey through an enchanting and mysterious World of Shadows, feed him so that he grows into a powerful and unstoppable fighter, and help him defeat hordes of enemy Shadows!

EXPLORE AND LOOT

The World of Shadows is full of adventure. Shadey’s quest will lead him through diverse areas, from deserted Greylands, to sparwling Gloomwood and bustling City of Shades.

Each zone will offer unique foes and challenges, as well as various rewards, such as gold or mighty equipment, which will empower Shadey, unlocking new gameplay possibilities.

COOK

Usually heroes become stronger by earning priceless experience in countless fights. Shadey can achieve the same thing by simply eating something.

Work up an appetite by defeating enemies, gather various ingredients, use them to cook a healthy meal, and feed it to Shadey to permanently increase his stats. However, be mindful about what you put in the cooking pot, as some ingredient combinatons are much more potent than the others!

It is up to you to determine if Shadey will become an elusive spectre dealing devastating critical strikes, or an immovable tank countering every blow.

FIGHT

On his journey Shadey will encounter many foes, from ironclad warriors to very angry rocks. However, Shadey has no concept of “tactics”, usually attacking whatever is in front of him. You must adapt your strategy based on Shadey's stats and equipment and target him at high priority targets.
