Inexorable is a single-player first-person sci-fi narrative set in the year 2133.

People have left their humanity behind, exchanging mortal flesh and bone for cold, undying metal and code. Most have become slaves of The Immortal, a group of independent AIs that have taken control of most aspects of the old, human civilization.

You are one of the few humans that kept true to his nature. After being chased from all cities and most continents, you and AND1, an AI banished by its own peers, trace a mysterious source of power ("The Light") that is able to disable everything that The Immortal touches.

Your mission is simple : Bring the Light to the Megalopolis, the heart of The Immortal's empire. On your way, you discover many hidden facts about the rise of AIs, the fall of human civilization and the nature of the world that has taken its place. Treacherous environments and enemies, strange entities and difficult choices lie ahead of you and your companion.
