Fallen Essence is a hack and slash roguelite about fighting your way through four elemental realms. Each realm has its own enemies, its own challenges and a boss that guards the way forward. Defeat all four and the path to the Aether opens, where the final and hardest fight in the game waits.

No two runs play the same. As you fight through each zone you restore ancient altars, revive massive monuments and collect random upgrades along with powerful abilities called epiphanies. Every pick changes your build, and every run asks you to adapt.

When you fall, the run ends, but what you learned stays with you. Try a new combination, push a little further and take on the next boss better prepared.

KEY FEATURES

• Four elemental zones. Travel through Air, Earth, Ice and Magma, each with its own look, enemies and challenges.
  
• A boss at the end of every zone. Each boss tests your timing, your movement and the build you have put together.
  
• A new build every run. Random upgrades and epiphanies combine in different ways, so each run lets you try a different playstyle.
  
• The Aether. Clear all four zones to unlock the Aether and face the final boss.
  
• Heat for experienced players. After you beat the game, raise the Heat to make every run harder and keep testing your skills.
