Welcome to the world of “Karambola”!

I want to share with you some secrets from behind the scenes of making my special little game.
I dove into huge piles of sketches, concepts arts and notes, and chose the most interesting ones to illustrate how the game was made and what inspired its story, locations and puzzles. (beware: spoilers!)

I reveal my thoughts on the curious, fruity characters’ personalities and backstories, as well as some difficult decisions I had to make during the design process.

This digital 92-page book is heavily illustrated with yet unpublished, unused drawings, paintings and locations, as well as new illustrations that I prepared specifically for this art book (you can even use them as original wallpapers!). I also dug out some test animations from early stages of the game’s development.

If you want to know how it is to be in the creator’s head, or need some validation if you’re an artist yourself, I really hope this will be an interesting and inspiring read for you.
