Overview

The Victor Initiative is a first-person survival horror game in which you explore the halls of an abandoned government facility in order to discover its secrets while evading the strange entities lurking within. The game is divided into separate floors, which all present unique challenges. This demo includes the first 5 floors, which make up the first 'chapter' of the game.

Chapter 1 Demo

This demo includes the first 'chapter' of the game, which introduces you to the setting of the game, and the first of many entities that you will need to evade: the [REDACTED] Horse. As you progress through the 5 floors of the demo, you will have to solve puzzles & avoid entities, and you will also pick up small hints about the mystery of this place along the way, but know that this is just the beginning. Many more horrors will await you in the full game...

Gameplay

In The Victor Initiative - Chapter 1, you have no health bar, nothing telling you what to do and one main goal: surviving. From a first person perspective, make your way through the winding halls of The Initiative in a bid to survive to the next room. Each room will present a new threat, or a new puzzle that you need to solve in order to keep pushing through. With no tools, no knowledge, just your environment and one patchy audio log for clues, will you be able to survive?

The Mission

In the first chapter of The Victor Initiative, It's your job to explore an abandoned government facility that lost contact with the rest of the world 60 years ago. What horrors will you discover within?

The Initiative

The Initiative was a mysterious government outpost that rarely communicated with the outside world, but 60 years ago, communicated stopped completely. Now, the freelance organisation you work for has been contracted to investigate what actually happened there.

This place is not what it seems.

As you explore the halls of the facility, you'll begin to notice that things aren't quite.. normal. Technology way ahead of its time, geometry that shouldn't be possible... something definitely isn't right here.

You are not alone.

The worst thing about this place, however, is that it feels like SOMETHING'S WATCHING YOU. You'll need to use clues hidden in the environment and your own wits to make sure that you don't meet an... untimely demise.
