Tales of Tirunia is a turn-based strategy game which rewards careful placement and future thinking. Every placement of your units on the board can be the masterstroke that drags the entire game in your favor– or it can leave you open to a critical counterstroke by enemy forces. Units that are overpowered by attacks from surrounding enemies flip allegiance– and can chain those attacks onwards across the entire board. Special abilities for each faction– the raw damage-boosting of the Wild Terins or the cursed power of the Bog Fiends– create tense tactical situations.

MASTER A SUBTLE BOARD-CONTROL SYSTEM

Wherever a unit is placed, it attacks neighboring enemies, with different combat values in each direction; a higher value than the opponent means that control of the enemy unit, its abilities, and its board-space is flipped. Different units have different chaining capabilities, sometimes causing the effects of one placement to ripple all the way from one end of the board to the other– and the most powerful units have devastating special abilities that define their armies and change the flow of play.
