Am I Nima puts you in control of Nima’s fractured mind. Trapped by your mother in a dimly lit basement, you must pass her tests and navigate once-familiar rooms if you want to escape.

You start with nothing, your thoughts a blank slate. As you explore, you uncover words and concepts tied to the objects around you: a worn-out plushie, a locked drawer, an old note scribbled in hurried handwriting. These words become the building blocks of your understanding and are used to direct the conversations with your mom.

But knowledge alone isn’t enough, you must actively combine words in Nima's mind, experimenting with different pairings to unlock deeper meanings and access buried memories. Some combinations spark sudden realizations, flooding your vision with glimpses of the past. Others twist and distort, revealing unsettling contradictions in what you think you know.

The more you uncover, the more questions arise: Why has your mother locked you in the basement? What do these tests mean? And are you really Nima?
