Jump into the heart of one of Cold War’s France most guarded military facilities, the Plateau d’Albion nuclear missile silos, with the brand-new free Albion map.
Set in the lavender fields of southern France’s Provençal, Albion features expansive military facilities, from silos to defensive bunkers, inspired by the real-life Base Aérienne 200. At the height of the Cold War, this site was the epitome of the nuclear deterrence strategy of France, and for the first time in WARNO, faithfully recreated using military archives and historical visuals.
As part of Reinforcement Pack #4, the Albion battlefield was created by popular community demand as a companion piece to Nemesis #2 - Plateau d'Albion mini-expansion.
Next to this new map, we are also releasing two sweet new soundtracks for WARNO’s playlist: “When Night Comes” & “For Honor And Country!”,
